We enjoy staying busy and going out with family as much as we can. Usually when an opportunity presents itself we try to say yes (sometimes we probably shouldn't!). Anyway we have been pretty busy the past few weeks as you have seen on previous posts.. new baby, ReAL games, and Yellowstone. This week we were able to spend some time hanging out with Steven's family. Saturday we got the invite to go to the Washington Terrace days fireworks with Steven's sister Leslee's little family. We had such a good time.. the boys (Steven and Devin) were so cute with the kids and spent a good amount of time running around with them in the field and kicking the soccer ball. They were also throwing out some prizes so they ran over there and ended up scoring some cool stuff! Makayla got a new soccer ball and Korbin got a rec Jazz jersey, a sports bottle with gum in it, and a nerds candy rope. It was such a good time. I wasn't sure how Korb would do with the fireworks but he absolutely LOVED them! He kept trying to look at them when he was standing but couldn't because they were directly above us. But he loved them and Aubree stayed asleep the whole time. Overall it was a really nice night and fun to spend some time with some family members.
On Monday we had the chance to go to the drive in with Steven's bro and family. It was a lot of fun.. we did our usual..get pizza and eat it there, had some yummy snacks and pop. Korb didn't do quite as well as he did last year with the drive in. He is not interested in the movies at all and wants to get down and run around. We finally got him to settle down during the second movie. We weren't too impressed with the movies but it was just nice to go see a movie or two and not have to worry about babysitters and such.
Korbs new Jazz jersey :)
They wouldn't pose but they are showing their winnings.. Jazz jersey and soccer ball
Just waiting for fireworks!

The Fair
I get the opportunity at my job to work the fair every year. I have done it for about 4 years now (I missed last year because I was on maternity leave). It is a lot of fun because I get paid to drive a golf cart around delivering drinks to workers! Of course we always stray off the course and go over some hills and visit other people and places. This year I worked with my boss who is one of my favorite people I work with and it was a lot of fun. Of course I drank tons and tons of soda and ate tons of hamburgers! Well anyway, we get a free family pass to go to the fair ( I dont think I would go if it wasn't free!) So we took Korb and he LOVED it! We went around and saw the animals and then went to the petting zoo. We also went to the rodeo and Steven was quite entertained by that. It was a fun little outing.
Grandpa and Korb watching the rodeo. Korb wanted to get down and play on the stairs.
He LOVED the sheep (yes, they are sheep).. this is the only animal he dared to touch and was actually sad when we went to other animals.
The cute little piggies. They were hyper, Korb didnt know what to think.

Park City
So every year I do my annual shopping up in Park City with my birthday money. This year my family decided to spend a weekend up there. My mom and I found a place online that was a really good deal to stay but they didn't give many details on the place, so we took a chance anyway and it ended up being an awesome condo! This condo was seriously about 40 steps from the outlet mall. Can you say DANGEROUS!? Needless to say, we went there 5 times in 3 days ha ha. Anyway, this condo was beautiful! It had a master bedroom that Steven and I got to stay in with a king bed, huge walk in closet (which ended up being Korbs room) and our own bathroom. Then it had 2 more bathrooms, 2 more bedrooms with 3 twins and 1 full and two hide a beds. It had a full kitchen, dining area and a porch. The place had a swimming pool and hot tubs. Anyway, it was awesome! We had a lot of fun just hanging out. Our last night Casey, Steven, and I decided that we wanted to get in the hot tub..well the hot tub closes at 10pm, and it was 10pm when we decided..so we just went anyway. About 15 mins later we see this "Alarm" vehicle pull up close to the hot tub.. so we jump out, grab all our stuff and run inside. We ran out to our porch and watched the alarm guy. It was soo funny because you could see our wet footprints from the hot tub to the door, and he continued to look around the building for us. Ohh good times. Anyway, it was really fun and hopefully we can make it a tradition! Here are a few pictures..
Here is a picture of the living room, dinning area, kitchen, and you can see the "loft" upstairs.

Done with the winter hair!
I have created a nice hair plan the past two years. Summer hair consists of short hair styles. It ranges anywhere from a buzz cut, spikey, or mowhawk. For the winters the past two years I decided to let my hair grow out for added warm (yes that really is the reason). I had a buzz cut in July courtesy of Alyssa and I didn't cut my hair again until December. That cut was just a trim to get rid of my aweful mullet. So I've got my long hair and I like it a lot. I especially like feeling it bounce while I'm playing sports. Some people may call me a metrosexual for that comment, but I'm secure with my sexuality so I can take it!
This winter weather is making me ready to bring back the summer hair. I'm ready for warm weather so I can jog outside, take my dog on walks, or just BBQ in the back yard. I am a big time summer person so I can't wait for long warm days.
My future hair styles for this summer will consist of a Beaver tale, European Mowhawk, buzz cut, spikey, and maybe even a bleached blonde tips. That bleach look is SOOOO 1990s but I might just do it anyway. Feel free to give me a suggestion, or a personal favorite.
