I am soo happy to announce that I have made it to the downhill slide of my pregnancy! I can officially start counting down and that makes me extremely happy! This pregnancy has been going well for me. It seems like it is double the amount of time then I was pregnant with Korbin, but maybe I am just more anxious, or ready to have my body back instead of enjoying each stage. I finally had to stop going to the gym this week, but I am proud of how long I made it. I was running about 10 mins on the treadmill and walking about 15 mins. So it was a nice workout but it has gotten pretty bad for me to where it isnt worth it. Every part of my body hurts and aches for days after, so I decided that I will have to stick with walks w/Korb and Steven until after she is here.
I do feel quite large, but I also hear that I am not very big.. so whether these people are being honest or not, I dont care..it makes me feel better anyway! ha ha I cant really touch my toes anymore so my toenails are now all grown out with a little speck of polish left. I sleep fine at night, I dont really wake too much to go the bathroom but I do wake up because I am out of breath and I always find myself sleeping on my back. My last appt (30 weeks) Aubree weighed about 3 lbs 11 oz and the average is about 3 lbs 2 oz. Of course that is never extremely accurate, but it does show she is on the bigger side. I have officially gained 30 lbs this pregnancy and I am hoping not to gain tons and tons more. I am just fine with the weight gain and hopefully it will come off fast and easy after she is here. I feel her move like crazy and she continues to make me uncomfortable by kicking my ribs as well as my pelvic bone. We are getting closer to getting everything ready for her arrival and I keep trying to ignore the fact that I am still 2 months away. Im sure it will go by fast and soon enough my little girl will be here!
I haven't been too good at taking pictures this pregnancy (kind of disappointed in myself!) but here are two I took of this week.

Korb is 20 months old!
This month I apparently slacked off on taking pictures because I have very few of them. I do know that my camera was dead for part of the month and I was quite lazy to actually go buy new batteries, so I will use that excuse! Nothing too new to report with this kiddo this month. He continues to learn new words and new animal sounds. He still LOVES to sing and its extremely cute when he does because he closes his eyes and moves his head back and forth (like he see's on tv). The weather is finally getting nicer and he is getting major spring fever. He never wants to come inside and throws fits sometimes when we come in. It makes me super excited for the summer because I will be all for him going in the backyard and playing! He gets the chance to play with a few of his cousins on a weekly basis and loves it. If its the big kids then he loves trying to be like them and do what they do, if its Makayla (1 month apart) they just like to do everything together and from what I hear.. it usually consists of some good messes! He is a smart little boy and is very good to clean up toys and help mom and dad. A few weeks ago we told him to put his spoon in the sink, so he went over and put the spoon in the sink, we cheered for him and then all of a sudden he had a bunch of toys in the sink. He didnt quite understand that it was just for dishes. This week I found a car in the disposal! What a silly kid!
His sleeping pattern has been off this month (still). No more teeth, they are just sitting below the gums just cause torture to all of us.
The sink of toys...just one of many times..
Korb trying to be like big cousin Kyla as they watch cartoons. Cute!
Not wanting to come inside.. no shocker there.
After bathtime all bundled up with Daddy!
This past month we also started going to the Ogden Treehouse. We got a membership for $20 off so we thought it was the perfect time to get one. We usually get to go with Makayla and those two have a lot of fun. There are still some things that scare him (the lifesize cow..the horse), but he loves the freedom to do anything there. Its a lot of fun and so far I am glad we got the membership. He will have a lot of fun this year.
Korb being cautious of the mule.. not sure what to think!

Big boy bed!
So as you all know we are expecting another baby in a few months! We didn't want to buy another crib just to have Korbin go to a toddler bed a few months later, so we decided to slowly move him to a toddler bed. We wanted to do this well before baby #2 comes so he didn't feel like it was because of the baby. Also, my belly is getting so big that it is hard for me to get Korb in and out of the crib. So the first of January we got his toddler bed up from the garage and put it in his room. We told him what it was and for the first few weeks he was just able to play on it and get used to it. One evening he was being awfully quiet in his room (which is almost never a good thing) so I peaked my head in and he was laying on his bed with a blanket over him "reading" a book. It was probably one of the cutest things I have ever seen!
The next day I caught him in his bed again laying down. So that night we decided that it might be worth a try to see if he could handle the big boy bed. We asked him which bed he wanted and he ran to the toddler bed. We did our usual night routine and then tucked him in for nite nite. We fully expected to get up about 6 times that night and just finally decide that he wasn't ready and put him back in the crib. Well the morning came and he hadn't woken up once! Not even one time!! We thought maybe it was a fluke so the next night we were expecting not to get much sleep, and once again..he slept through the night. He has now been in the toddler bed for about a month and he absolutely LOVES it! He does wake up sometimes and gets a little scared, but he is usually good to go back to sleep when we go in there. In the mornings he often plays in his room for a little while before I hear him. He is good to stay in his room until I come in. As for nap time.. we haven't tried that much. He still sleeps in his crib during nap because he has a hard time naping during the day when he can get up and play with all the toys. I think in another few weeks we will move him to the bed during nap, but there is no rush right now. The switching beds went so smoothly and I know that we are super lucky to have such a good little boy that made it easy on us! He looks soo cute in his big boy bed and absolutely loves it. Grandma Shaw made him a new quilt for his big boy bed as well as a pillowcase to match. Its super cute.
One of the times he was laying in his bed. This is cute because he is pretending like he is asleep.

Pregnancy
Well I have made it over halfway and started to count down! I am now 27 weeks and I feel like I am 37 weeks! I can definitely tell I am heading into my 3rd trimester because I am starting to get less energy again, and of course the obvious point of the fact that my belly is big and is making everything a lot harder. I no longer pick up anything off the floor because I know it will take a good few minutes. I still sleep as good as I did before I was pregnant which is ALWAYS nice! Now if my child would stop teething I could sleep all the way through the night. I have almost gained as much weight to this point as I ended with Korbin. Kind of depressing but I lost a good 5-10lbs with Korbin because he made me so sick, and luckily with Aubree she has been nicer to me and I didn't get too sick. So I consider that the reason. I started going back to the gym after my first trimester and it has been nice. I never imagined how hard it would be to stay in shape while you are pregnant. Two weeks ago I bumped up my workout to more of a run and every time I took a step I felt like I had to pee! Ohh the joys of pregnancy! But I do feel like I am being somewhat productive and I hope that by working out a little I am able to lose the baby weight fast when she is here. I definitely feel her move and she is starting to kick so hard it feels like she is going to break out! She is positioned way different then Korbin was. Korbin was up in my ribs at all times and I thought my ribs were going to break. Aubree on the other hand is super low and I feel like she is just sitting on my bladder. She is always head down so hopefully she will be ready to go when its time! My last dr appt I was told that she had some chubby cheeks.. so that got me excited. She also weighs just over 2lbs. I haven't had any crazy cravings.. I do enjoy sugar even more then before, especially sourish stuff like sweet tarts and sour worms. I love juices, golden grahams, velveeta noodle, and nuggets and fries.
Everything else is going well. We are getting closer and closer to getting things ready for her to come. We have plenty of clothes for her and I am almost finished with her quilt.
Here is day 1 of the quilt. It still needs one more border and then the batting and backing on it, tie it all up and it will be done! :)

It's a GIRL!!
So we finally found out what we are having! It was such torture to go all the way to 21 weeks to find out what it was. We had been to our previous appointments and she was never sure of what it was.. the dr gave us the ususal.. it looks like a girl but who knows? So we didnt bank on that. With our targeted ultrasound we were able to see for sure that it was a girl and we are soo excited! It is going to be so fun/crazy to have a boy and a girl in our little family and such a growing experience! I dont have any idea how Korbin will do with a little baby in his family but hopefully he learns fast that we have to be soft with her. My mom is EXTREMELY excited for this news because it will be her first grand daughter! On my side of the family there are 4 boys (grandson's) and no girls, so she is very excited to have a little girl to play with. In fact, she is so excited she has already made her some quilts, fleece blankets, and given us 2 HUGE bags full of little girl clothes. I know she has a ton more that she plans on giving to us..so it's nice not to have to worry about too many clothes. I am also going to make her a quilt myself which I am excited to finally get back to one of my talents.
(me at 19 weeks..3 weeks ago)
My pregnancy has gone quite well so far. She has treated me well and I haven't been near as sick as I was with Korbin. I got my energy back a few weeks ago and now I am finally catching up on everything I wasn't able to do when I was sick. I am definitely showing now and sometimes I feel like I am too big already! I am not the type of person that loves being pregnant so I am definitely counting down the days until our little princess comes! Only 4 months left! :)
Korbin @ 18 months old
This little munchkin might have hit his terrible two's a little early! He definitely has a mind of his own and no one is going to stop him from doing what he wants to do. Before we had him we always said we wanted a rough and tough boy that loved to play with balls and cars and can be rough..and we got what we wanted! He definitely fits all of that! He is extremely adventurous..sometimes too much so. He loves to try to jump off things like couches and beds. He isn't scared to swing upside down and he loves doing anything with a lot of action. He still doesn't enjoy watching any tv..which is a good thing I think. Sometimes we put some cartoons on for him but he is never intersted in stopping and watching. He is a go-go-go type of kid. He can say a lot of words and is learning his animal sounds. He has reached the point where he is almost too attached to Steven and I. Everytime we leave the room he cries and he has some major stranger danger. He loves to wear hats and gloves just to play and he is very good at understanding our directions (which is nice!). He is such a funny kid! We are always laughing with something he is doing. He loves to make funny faces as well as use his "fake" laugh when someone else is laughing. Its really cute. Anyway, here are some fun pictures of the past month!
Mom and Korbin getting ready for church. This is one of the few times I have actually done his hair, as you can see..there still isnt much to do with it!
This doesn't even begin to show what the rest of the house looked like, but if you look close you can see random things that aren't toys that he decided would be fun to play with..garbage bags, ziplock bags, pillows, and the air vent.
Sportin Dad's hat
One of his goofy faces
Getting ready to jump off the couch!
Playing with his car ramp he got from Santa.
